Canny reuse of familiar elements. Your other dwarves may fall a bit short (sporting a great array of disparate real-world elements) but this, and your other Gloin show how close and yet how different a look can be generated just with a shot of Gimli and a few new textures. Peter Jackson himself has not appreciated such diversity with his dubious array of men in silly costumes masquerading as dwarves. I'd love to see what you'd come up with with the addition of those elements though.
